We've found a nasty bug in xdrmem_setpos() function.
Issue is caused by casts (char*) - (long) and signed comparison

Because grubconf is planned to be removed from the archive (see
#389090), the debian/control of the grub package will have to be fixed
and not recommand grubconf anymore.
