I just hit a similar problem, test the following if it works for you.
Printing from xfig (or fig2dev) to postscript generates postscript that is
not fully DSC 2.0, or at least, CUPS can't read the DSC information and
stops the resulting print job.

The problem regards the gconf schema of gnome-phone-manager I missed
the gnome class in CDBS so after the install it doesn't register the
schema file...
I'll fix it ASAP but not in this week, unfortunately I'm away...
