This FTBFS is easily fixable by adding intltool to the build-deps, and
makes the package buildable on i386 and amd64.
I've created an NMU, and I'll upload as a convience to you if desired:
I took a quick look at this, its possible this FTBFS on the grid
simply because the internet isn't available. I rebuilt it a few times,
and it always passed. If it possible that this is just a random fluke,
and this bug can be closed, or at least downgraded?

I have uptimed running on about 50 machines and the described problem
appeared on a bunch of them. I lost a lot of uptimes there. A fix would
be very appreciated.

I also experienced keyboard failure after upgrading to Lenny and running
Thunderbird. I was replying to a mail and hit ctrl-shift-r, then
