In my case, the problem was caused by additional spaces behind the
filesnames in /etc/syslog.conf
The files generated in /var/log were the filenames without spaces, but
syslogd-listfiles tries a 'stat' on the filename *with* space.
Perhaps this could be improved by stripping trailing spaces
would it be possible to port this bug fix to stable?

I've opened that this crash is due kget, not konqueror.
When I turn off the kget download manager in konqueror, all things are OK.
So this bug needs to be reassigned to kget?
