After my recent xorg server upgrade, I find that switching VT's takes
unusually long (about 8 seconds) when switching *BACK* to X. This

doesn't stop my host from booting, but I have a 32-bit chroot, which I use

I was traing to find debconf way to select workstation
level. But there is no such debconf script.
How about having one, which will ask user on instalation which

a) tries to detect if user is running in utf-8 locale by a heuristic
similar that that used in the autoconf test
b) allows setting the unicode locale at runtime (changes the define to
a variable)
The autoconf script is not modified, removing the define should be
trivial
Maybe the problem is not with the file, but instead the checksum itself?
