Hi Luca,
I'm building with gcc 4.8 here when developing, and it works fine.
I recommend building with gcc 4.8 or with clang, rather than removing
optimizations from xmalloc.c, which is a hotspot in the application!
Cheers,

There seems to be a regression from the 5.18 packages in passing linker

This is due to a bug in python-wxversion, not playonlinux - see #758209,
which I've just uploaded a fix for to unstable.
Thanks for your reply. I though it was directly linked to this bug.
The fix should be available very shortly. Meanwhile, if you want a

Thank you for your patch Andreas.

Thanks for incorporating the feedback.
I think the WTFPL short name should keep the version number, WTFPL-2 was
better IMHO.
The text of the QT license exception is still missing the LGPL exception
text. I suggest at least the changes included in the attached patch.

Which SELinux booleans have you set? Does allowing execstack help?
To learn about SELinux booleans, see booleans(8), to see the status of
all booleans, use getsebool -a.
To switch allow_execstack, use "setsebool allow_execstack on

Maxima 5.27.0 is a couple of years old, and the code to which OP
refers does not exist anymore. Perhaps OP can try it again with a
current version of Maxima.
I have tried the same operation with a current version of Maxima
(post-5.33 from Git) and it works as expected.
