xcam also fails to display or capture any image from the Philips
webcam. Upon pressing the 'Play' button, an error message box pops up:
"Failed to start webcam: Invalid argument"
After jumping between the other available devices, upon selecting the

I stumbled across this when trying to backup to an encrypted USB 2.0 HDD.
The device would unlock and mount fine (mount reports rw), but any attempt
to modify or copy files to it caused an 'no space left on device' error,
while 'df -h' reported > 10GB free space.

disabling the v4l backend did not fix the bug, obviously. I am therefore
reopening it.
The removal of the v4l backend breaks image capture for all v4l sources, not
just pwc. You should therefore document this with a separate Debian bug report.

impression that it didn't show all possible commands. So I was looking
for a more comprehensive one and came across the --keymap option of
xine-ui. Would it be possible to make --keymap=lirc for gxine show all
possible commands?
I have the same problem. ifonfig shows eth0 up and running but address
resolution fails.
The problem exists with linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64_3.2.57-3, downgrading to
linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64_2.6.32-48squeeze4 solves the issue.
