as root, nor as user, perhaps because bluez-gnome needs to be updated
to match bluetooth-4.40.
The program is however automatically launched if I log in (even with
obex-data-server uninstalled, I tried it again).

After further investigation I think the bug comes from epiphany-gecko.
In fact each time Epiphany opens a download window in the notification area,
the space taken isn't freed when the download finishes.
As a consequence the notification are
tor :'(.
Perhaps something should be written in the README.Users file, to tell
people to enable text wrapping in their editor or switch to an editor
that support it.
Anyway, I'll try investigating this Vim text wrappping option when I
have some time, and keep you informed.

Unfortunately I already had bluez installed when the problem occured. In fact I
have bluez and bluetooth packages installed and up to date (an update was pushed
few days ago).
Problem is persisting, can't use bluetooth as a user sinc
to narrow the problem, but I hope there will be a
fix soon; Metacity compositing effects are just so "kicking-ass", what a
shame I can't play any video while using them :-)

"false"does improve compositing if you use "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy",
but that's out of subject). So now I can use the intel driver with EXA, even
though I do not understand why that option is needed now...

composite operation (render acceleration), but once you use that option, you
can read in the xorg log file: "EXA: Disabling Composite operation (RENDER
acceleration)". Moreover it doesn't matter whether you use "false" or
"true", they both disable the composite operation...looks like a bug to
me...
