complicated, having hibernate -v3 show what's
happening in the config file loading is a good thing.
Good idea - agreed. Has been implemented and committed to subversion

be a cleaner solution to include that into the grub

Actually, no. Hibernate works *fine* without chvt, as long as you do not use
some of its functionality. Of course, some of this functionality is quite

A few ideas for fixing the problem:
a) When hibernate is run to suspend the system, check that the
exact version of currently running kernel will be available on
the next boot. If it will not be available, do
}.conf contain a call to their method,
and anything else specific to that mode of suspend. They all also
include common.conf, which has the bulk of the configuration
options (commented out).
I hope this still does what you want it to!

This code gives fails to link unless compiled with optimisation. -O1,
-O2, -O3..., or -Os all compile fine, just -O0 bombs out with:

removing command-line options, not adding. (I'm assuming your

Is there a way to detect the difference, so that the proper option can
be used?
Apologies for the tardiness. mplayer should handle the case where a
file containing the URL is sent, I thought? Do you have an example?

Does this persist with 1.7.1? I can't
