If I remove those files and create 100 subdirs with 100 files each,

If I create a symlink to a grandparent directory in there, the issue

So in my case, it looks like the issue is Thunar not handling recursive

It looks there's an issue with my gpg doing a checkdb way too often,

We have env var HWLOC_DONT_ADD_VERSION_INFO in upstream git master

Brice, are you seeing something different? I.e. is this patch required
for you even on current

Could you please package them ?

Applying this patch worked for me. Apparently redhat also did so
(redhat bug 537403 ). Could you please think about applying this
patch to the Debian version ?
Thank you,

IMHO a dependency to gawk should be added to the libvirt0 package.
Best,

but I am not sure where.

Not that I know of. Maybe because I installed the 1.0.23 version, then
uninstalled it (although I purged it...), then reinstalled the 1.0.21
version. Anyway, I'm glad the problem was solved. Thanks for your
help.

Sure I can do that. However I have already fixed the problem by
compiling and installing the new alsa drivers with m-a. How do
including scripts/basic/Makefile since 2007) but the problem
didn't occur in the past (at least it works fine with 2.6.32-5
and 2.6.34-1). Now that 2.6.37 seems to use this code easierly,
scripts/basic/Makefile should be shipped in headers packages.
Thanks,

Debian
AFAIK 1.0.23 drivers where introduced in 2.6.33 or so.
Squeeze is currently providing 2.6.32-5, which provides 1.0.21.
Alsa-base is 1.0.23
Hence the version issue. Packages should match, right?
