Dear Vincent,
Thanks for your review.
The purpose of debian/patches/debian-changes-0.1.95+gtk2-3.2.patch
was to switch to source format 3.0 (quilt). It contains the changes
between the upstream and Debian version 3.2. Many files were changed,
not just autoconf-related ones, so I need this patch
It should work with mouse if gpm package is installed... Also this
functionality depends on value of TERM environment variable. See details in

Dear all,
I'm very sorry for this, but my patch for this bug is dangerous and must be
unapplied.
Yes, it works well with the default key bindings, but the problem is that a
user can modify them!
Then an unpredictable behavior may result.
Just imagine that the user has in his ~/.inputrc:
C-k:
see attached debdiff.

Hi,
Yes, the change is big, thus I intended to upload to experimental.
It should not interfere with freeze, but if you don't agree,
let's wait. Anyway, I cannot upload without a sponsor.
The BTS mention that the upstream is dead, so I didn't try to contact them.

A simple solution for this problem is to send C-k C-u to the shell
before sending 'cd' command, which will erase previous unfinished text
(C-k is needed for bash if the cursor is in the middle of the line).
I've tried the following patch with bash, zsh and tcsh and it works

Hi,
this is very easily understood.
When the file is encrypted, the unzip process asks for password interactively,
but the user neither sees the prompt nor can enter the password, thus mc hangs.
A very simple workaround is to supply empty password with -P. Here is the

I dare reopen this, since the bug actually exists.
Lowering severity, because this only occurs for a special cases.
In summary, if the root filesystem was created with no resize inode,
