everything work fine.

Package: base-files
Version: 3.1.16
Severity: normal
Since the last upgrade of base-files I've been having trouble with name
resolving.
After a while I figured it out: when removing the mDNS entries in
/etc/nsswitch.conf,
everything works perfectly.
The other option is installing libnss-mdns.
I was seeing the same crash, this is resolved (for me atleast) in 2.0.4~rc3-1.

Maybe this dependency can be removed?
