Hi,
I found, that the current /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc specifies an
option "Preloader=/usr/bin/preloadkde". Why don't we use this option? This
could probably speed up KDE after login.
Unfortunately I did not find this script in

This bit is not needed, had it on my box for technical reasons, I
recommend you take it out again.

Hi,
For me, the following change to 13_cdrecord_to_wodim.patch fixes this.
Please test, as my setup is pretty nonstandard (i.e., not a Debian
box.). (Since this overwrites everything from 12_*.patch, the latter
should probably be removed.)

Hi,
I wrote a small script to download and install the mapdata from the homepage.
Maybe that's a good contribution, which should go into /usr/share/doc.
Good program by the way,

Hi,
my tests run, as I already wrote. The perl testbench showed indeed an error in

I corrected this by using a queue of objects, instead of a queue of references
to objects. Now the testbench and my own tests run clean:

Hi,
you are not the only one, who "rarely" uses this package.
I'm very interested in this package too. Unfortunately
the package is a little bit out of date.
I'm using the current version since a while and would
appreciate to see it in Debian too. (The same is true for GPL CVer).

I'd certainly vote this bug to be fixed in Sarge because apt is
a Priority: important package, and this particular bug may affect other
people behind proxies, who then will not have much chances to work
around it.
