suppose that it's better that you go ahead unless they reply between

Thanks the several people involved in the work, both for the report
and patche
of
the symbols file using pkgkde-symbolshelper. It built fine in both amd64 and
riscv64 with the new changes.
It would be great if you could include these changes and release a new version
for unstable, at the moment it lives in "unreleased".

If it is indeed using an embedded library, perhaps it can be made to
use the library installed on the system instead of the embedded one,
and so we end up with a double-benefit :)
