Hi, I'll try the gdb debugging. Thanks for the command line. I can't try the precompiled binaries from mysql as they are not available for the arm architecture (I'll check again). I'll put the result on the mysql bug report that you opened at mysql. Regards Marti

really haven't seen the arm architecture (or it have an other name there). It is sometimes called ixp4, but I can't see it either. I cross posted the result on the mysql #26774 bug report as well. Regards, Martin Riondet -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of &q

I tried to compile the debian sources (version 5.0.36-1) directely on my server. But the mysqld server still crashes. So, it is not a cross compilation problem. I guess it is one of the debian specific patch. I tried to remove the last 3 patches, but it still does crashes. It could be a debian

from the last time I had the pb (except mysql version). The gdb backtrace is exactly the same. The home compiled mysql version is fine (from mysql sources). The debian compiled package crashes. regards Martin Riondet # gdb /usr/sbin/mysql
