Inspired by commit "Install ANGLE EGL and GLESv2 libs" in Michel's
personal salsa Git repo (see [1]):
I have downloaded google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb version
87.0.4280.88 deb file.
Copied libEGL.so and libGLESv2.so files from /opt/google/chrome to
/usr/lib/chromium.

today, I upgraded to chromium version 87.0.4280.88-0.3 from Debian/unstable.
You need these (systemwide) symlinks:
cd /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu
ln -sf libGLESv2.so.2 libGLESv2.so
ln -sf libEGL.so.1 libEGL.so
No symlinks are needed in /usr/lib/chromium/ directory.
So, this should be better
