database everytime again by the -f argument.

There is the same GTK theme installed and there is no such bug with
gimp's crashing.
Maybe there is bug in some of GTK libraries?

This change brought me some troubles: 5 seconds is a too short timeout
for those with slow connection. Please, make it at least 15 seconds,
this value worked for me.
