use on 32 bit architectures via the -x option as documented in the man

This does not happen with the ctsim v4.5.0 binary packages that I
uploaded recently. I tested both ctsim

{gcc,g77,g++}-2.95 but the package's control file is missing a Depends: for
these compilers. As a result, mkoctfile does annoyingly not work inside a
pbuilder
