I had the same problem with my network card. First I thought it was a
discover bug (See Bug #326723).
I compiled a kernel with your patch and it worked for me. Loaded dmfe
again without having to blacklist tulip.

I use OO without the option use OO dialogs. I can easily locate the
file on the network place via the gtk open dialog. I double click it:
Nothing happens. OO just stays there with the empty page like before.
Happens with native OO files as

Gnumeric doesnt start anymore (I don't know for how long, I don't use it
frequently).
Called from the command line, it says:

something like this also happens with files on a Mac OSX server.

doesnt show me all the shares on projektserverx, but I couldn't find the

gets the tulip driver. before that it always assigned the dmfe driver to
the controller.
