It looks like log4cxx gets hit by debian #270340.
Thanks to Stephen R. Marenka for checking the build on m68k.
Hum, this is odd. #270340 says this is a bug in 3.3/3.4... it doesn't
mention 4.0 - except for saying that it has been fixed in 3.4.6 and
4.0. So 4.0 should work, including
with 2.6 yet, so I'll
have to leave that test for someone else.
Thanks,
Stephen

an existing problem with
libXcursor.la.
I'd like to leave this bug open until either qt4-x11 build-deps on
gcc-4.1 for m68k or gcc-4.1 becomes the default compiler for m68k.
Thanks,
Stephen

gcc-4.0 -O0 doesn't work around the bug, however using gcc-4.1 -O2
does.
Thanks,
Stephen

amarok build-deps on libtunepimp2-dev which is no longer in unstable.
This is causing m68k to ftbfs.

Looks like the ICE is now fixed in sid, so I'll requeue ghc6 to rebuild
normally.

As a side note, this ICE is apparently fixed now in sid. So no patch is
required and this bug could be closed pending the outcome of the p-a-s
decision.

I'm willing to do a binNMU build of ghc6 with gcc-4.1 to ensure that

Will future maintainer uploads then build OK on m68k

The ICE in instantiate_virtual_regs_lossage (333536) which persists

Uploading. It built fine with gcc-4.1 and -O2.

Apparently I was overly optimistic. openmsx now fails with an ICE
in reload_cse_simplify_operands, filed as debian #340293.
Bummer.
