I'm an m68k developer and we're hosted at debian-ports now. It would
be much easier to follow changes and issues with the debian w-b
infrastructure, which we're trying to mirror to an extent, if there

gcc-4.0_4.0.3-1 has the bug, and due to a libc6 ftbfs, is the latest
gcc-4.0 for m68k. gcc-4.1 does not have the bug, so if you're going to
do anything special for m68k, I'd rather see gcc-4.1.

Stephen

gcc-4.0 fixed, if that's okay.

eantime. I could be wrong though.
I'll check into it again.

Yeah! Unfortunately, my hardware doesn't work with 2.6 yet, so I'll
have to leave that test for someone else.

ix an existing problem with
libXcursor.la.
I'd like to leave this bug open until either qt4-x11 build-deps on
gcc-4.1 for m68k or gcc-4.1 becomes the default compiler for m68k.
Thanks,
Stephen

amarok build-deps on libtunepimp2-dev which is no longer in unstable.
This is causing m68k to ftbfs.

thanks
gcc-4.0 -O0 doesn't work around the bug, however using gcc-4.1 -O2
does.

As a side note, this ICE is apparently fixed now in sid. So no patch is
required and this bug could be closed pending the outcome of the p-a-s
decision.

Looks like the ICE is now fixed in sid, so I'll requeue ghc6 to rebuild
normally.

Uploading. It built fine with gcc-4.1 and -O2.

Apparently I was overly optimistic. openmsx now fails with an ICE
in reload_cse_simplify_operands, filed as debian #340293.
Bummer.
