The problem is that Debian testing is on hold and will not accept any
new packages at this time.
We decided to wait until a new Debian testing arrives.
If you're looking for a comfortable way to play the latest version
you'll probably find desura [0] useful.

I compile wine by myself because I maintain some apps in the appdb which
I want to run with the bleeding edge version of wine to test their
compatiblity.
I also install this self-compiled version to my system which is bad if
there is already an installed debian wine package.

The alien-arena wrapper script tries to make a link from /usr/share/games
/alien-arena/data1 to "$HOME/.config/alien-arena" which fails.
Creating the link by hand fails as well. It succeeds with sudo, tough.

There seems to be a working patch, and sikuli does not seem to FTBFS any
(since rc3).
Could you include the patch and rebuild the package please? Sikuli is
completely unusable for me in the meantime.

Update: Flare 0.12 has two issues which make packaging difficult:
- tha data (graphics etc.) are only loaded when they are at the same
folder as the flare executable is
- the savegames are only saved in the same folder as the executable
I addressed both issues to the flare dev who will fix them
I just installed winetricks and noticed that it depends on wine instead
of recommending it.
As winetricks is useful as well if you compile wine yourself, I would
like it to only recommend wine as a package.
Would you mind to change that?

I set up a pbuilder env, installed e16 and ran it in Xephyr.
Ran the same e16 version as you did and had no libimlib2-dev installed.

Hmm, sounds like it would.
The vlc.desktop file uses %U in Debian as well and handles the file://
URLs correctly.
The VLC bug report sounds like they have changed the handling of such
strings in VLC.
Maybe we should file a bugreport at the smplayer BTS as I couldn't find

We had a wrong IP address standing in our /etc/hosts pointing to our own

It seems that ejabberd does not start on KVM based VMs.
ejabberd starts without any problems on the host (lenny + some backports
packages) and on various other Debian lenny machines I have access to.
Killing beam and don't having anything using port 5222 does not solve
