thanks
I applied a change to support phpunit 11:
https://salsa.debian.org/php-team/pear/php-nikic-fast-route/-/commit/121a9e9e4fcacbcfdbf745b43d5656cfe049373a
It also builds ok with phpunit 9.6.17, however some of the tests are
skipped with the changes for phpunit 11
Hi,
I have pushed a autolog 0.42.1 which should build correctly when
`-Werror=implicit-function-declaration` is used.

Attached patch fixes these issues. This is also available as MR!496 on
Salsa.

It seemed worth forwarding this bugreport upstream, since it may be a quick fix
there (initially I felt that it may be worth handling in Debian initially and

bunch of privacy and packaging-related fixups (#781849 for
example), and removing it could cause unexpected regressions elsewhere.

these kind of problems that I realized; I'll have to check some merge
requests that I have open for other packages.
Thank you,

Afternoon
I had reason to come back to looking at this recently; I've reworked the
patch to just support stestr as the test execution system (the other two
seem much less common/unused directly now).
I tested this with the python-oslo.config package - albeit I did have to
strip down the rules
(the
first failure mentioned in the logs relates to missing CPPFLAGS).
The Debian Wiki page[3] about package hardening includes some information
relating to packages that use CMake, and this could be worth checking for
guidance.
Thanks,
James

confirmed that this results
in a fixed output mtime for the cities1000.txt file when building in different
timezones using dpkg-buildpackage on trixie. I'll also offer this as a merge
request on Salsa.

James
