The problem with this Belkin adapter is now
worse than when originally reported. At startup
in Squeeze, error messages repeat for a few

P.S. I should also have mentioned that the gadget
now only presents buttons "Cancel" and "Logout".
"Reboot" and other buttons visible on May 4 are gone.

This Belkin F5U222v1 PCMCIA card has two USB ports.
A mouse connected alone works properly. If a flash
storage device is plugged into the second port,
the mouse pointer freezes. Normal operation of the
mouse resumes when the flash storage is removed.
