On the hurd /usr is a symlink to /.
The move of which from /usr/bin to /bin is not a problem but the
symlink /usr/bin/which overwrite /bin/which !
ls -l /bin/which
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root root 10 Mar 11 11:57 /bin/which -> /bin/which
this break most debian scripts on the hurd. Maybe the symlink
