I agree with all this patch. Only one optimisation: you don't need to
use clean target since cdbs already clean all contents of debian

Hi Guys
Just to bring you all up to date. We have been using SVN on
svn.debian.org to coordinate the package and will be maintaining it as
a team using Alioth at:
https://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-spca5xx/
If you wish you can check out the source from
svn+alioth://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-spc
Do you have any experience with hotplug and dbus? It would be cool if we could
tie this all together so when a camera is plugged in an appropriate
application pops up.

Well, first time I ping you is more then a mounth ago. You had a lot
of time to work on it and didn't.
This is clear since you asked to take

I copied the code to here and can set up a SVN repos tomorrow as required.

Well, there's a http://sponsors.debian.net service

Now I am stunned.
1. My reasons for not wishing to use a sponsor are valid.
2. It was quite reasonable to expect that my NM would complete soon and so

Dear Stephen and everyone else,
Of course I have no problem of you taking my package and building upon it, or
of being
co-maintainer. On the other hand, I do not understand why you wish to remove
changelog entries,
and do not give you my permission to do so.
You may of course receieve such per

I agree about this.
I think this can be co-maintained and may
Hi Kel and Itay
One of the packages I have been planning for Debian is the spca5xx
package for which I filed a ITP some time back. Since I believed my
NM application was shortly to be completed I decided to not use my
normal sponsor for this package preferring to wait until I could do my
