Thank you for reporting this. IIRC the Bulgarian translation was
outdated at Bluefish 1.0 release, so it was part of the source but not
used/installed. This has changed with bluefish 1.0.1 release.
The format specification bug you reported is fixed in the bluefish 1.0.2
upstream release

The Bulgarian translation is missing, although bg.po is present in
source. I suspect it is due to the fact that the file doesn't compile
because of fatal errors:
