I also believe that this bug report is useless. As today (January 2019)
it is almost 23 years old!
Upstream is dead and, as far as i know, nobody took over upstream
maintenance.
For this reason i close this bug now.

hat bug is the 6th oldest opened bug in Debian. It is however marked
upstream, wontfix and upstream is dead.
I really wonder whether it is useful to keep the bug opened while
everybody knows that nothing will ever be done about it.
After all, even if it is closed, the information is still here
