Hi Peter, two things: 1. you can very easily solve this yourself by editing ~/.freemind/user.properties and uncommenting and setting the variable 'default_browser_command_other_os' to the value you like. 2. in version 0.8.0, not yet in Debian for different reasons but available from the FreeMind
