These error messages are probably harmless. They are probably because
your drive lacks some SMART capabilities. The '-a' which is either listed
in smartd.conf, or assumed by default, is equivalent to saying 'monitor
all smart data'.
Read the smartd.conf man page to see what '-a' is equivalen
