It's a problem when you use IMP with uw-imapd, which does not seem to
respect completely the RFC.
I found this on the wiki (which hasn't been responding for some

the solution is to add these lines in your imap server

I have looked at the configuration and it seems to be just fine. The
only difference from my setup is the following:
* You use localhost as imap host in config files.
* You have set up maildomain = 'xxx.tld' and smtphost='xxx.tld'.
