This is almost certainly a problem with wxGTK and not poedit. Try recompiling wxGTK against GTK+ 2.12. I did; poedit still crashes. Or try to (finally!) build poedit against wx-2.8 instead of the ancient 2.6 version that Debian still uses. I did; poedit still crashes. Output from this
