Bug#475536: pidgin: in the german translation an irc channels is called Raum

Hello! I can relate, though: Where are they called Raum? Because taking a look at the po file it seems to be consistently translated from channel to Kanal and from room to Raum where it applies. This is no translation bug but a problem that already exists in the english original, thus

Package: pidgin Version: 2.4.1-1 Severity: minor Tags: l10n Hi. IRC channels should not be called Raum. Instead please use the word Kanal. While this might still be confusing to people that don't know the English terminology at least it will reduce the number of people translating back to room.
