Using FAI version 3.2.10 on Lenny (both Clients and Server).
We need the softupdate functionality. The basic install works fine with
our configuration file, however during soft-updates the installations
stops, whenever configuration files,
I think this is not an important bug. I do not like to force those
options for every softupdate.
Another approach could be, that the admin is resposible for setting
his prefered options in /etc/apt/apt.conf.d, when doing softupdtes. If
FAI forces the options that you proposed, it's not possible

used at some points during the softupdate - I would at least propose
