Sorry but I'm not interested in patches for RPM distro.
But the issue is that it is really based on a legacy lib no more
maintained by gdb developers.
I don't agree with you.

Believe if you take rpm package and make deb package with alien, then all will
work.
Debian policy does not allow us to link to a binary libgdb provided by FPC
upstream.
You did not see patches, there is no libgdb provided by FPC

Yes, but this is not Debian's way to create packages! Packages should
build from source.
Please build packages:
http://code.google.com/p/fp-ide-ru
http://code.google.com/p/fp-ide-en
and this bug will be fixed.

fp uses own gdb and don't use system gdb for compiling and for working.

Why you can not use: ftp://ftp.freepascal.org/pub/fpc/contrib/libgdb/
Because I need to use official libgdb.a shipped by debian in seed,
otherwise it is a policy violation and a potential vulnerability.
or use solution of Alt Linux?
Subject: fp-ide: No debugger support available
Package: fp-ide
Version: 2.2.4-1
Severity: normal
Trying to use debug functionality in the fp ide does not work. Clicking
for instance Debug-Watches in the IDE produces the error No debugger
support available
I am not sure if this is intended
I have reported a bug with severity serious 509873 but this is still
pending. Without solving this bug we couldn't have any debugger support.
Cheers,
Mazen,
