No! The userspace works fine! The vanilla 2.6.32-5 kernel package works fine
with Squeeze "cifs-util

Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.32-30
Severity: important
The package "linux-image-2.6.32-5-openvz-amd64" is shipped with a deprecated
version
of the CIFS module ("cifs.ko"). So, userspace utilities such as "mount.cifs"
become incompatible with old version of cifs.ko and refuse to work.
