I am not able to reproduce this (using xfce session in squeeze). When
xscreensaver settings have power management disabled, xset q reports
DPMS is disabled (also before I open the settings):
DPMS (Energy Star):
Standby: 7200Suspend: 7200Off: 14400
DPMS is Disabled
