Some more information for other folks:
The "Joy"[0] theme was chosen as the Official Debian theme for Wheezy.
Most components have been updataed, including d-i, and desktop-base.
A NMU contained a splash screen that fits the Joy theme[1]. The NMU was
rejected after a maintainer upload the day it

Seeing as how a pending NMU with the corrected changes was ignored,
please fix your branding to reflect Debian's official theme. I will
