I'm running the game on Gnome 3 with Nouveau drivers and a Geforce 9600
GT card using amd64 as well. Ever

modify a textfield in-game. I am on amd64 as well, and I'm launching
freeorion normally, from terminal or wm menu.

Hi Markus,
I run freeorion via optirun from the bumblebee package, because freeorion
doesn't run with the regular graphics card.
No difference between fullscreen and windowed. Bug occurs in both cases.
Freeorion has no effect of the usability of the system. bug is only in the
game.
