I just found and fixed a small error in the .desktop file, so I uploaded a
new package.
And the upstream changelog is indeed detected in Debian. But you still
should check it.

Don't worry, I changed the section to java.
The most important is, like you said, the description. And also the

example, the Ubuntu Software Center mainly uses to categorize the
applications (learned this only recently).
But thank

I forgot something about copyrights.
JTattoo is multiple licensed, but only GPLv2 and v3 can be used for free,
it's necessary to pay to use the other licenses. Do I list those licenses
as well in debian/copyright?
Most files in cmake/Modules/ contained only a pointer to the full copyright

I went through all suggestions.
Since I made some changes to the upstream code, as suggested, I released a
new version of the source tarball (1.2.3).
The extension of the tarball is now tar.xz, for higher compression.
I also uploaded a new package to Mentors with all the changes.

Thank you Eriberto for your extensive feedback! (and I thought my package
was reasonably good! :) )
Thank you Peter for your comment as well.
I was going to answer only after I had uploaded a new package.

here[1]. Use the contract name of the section. As example, for
miscellaneous, use misc. How to know this? Click over the section
Still nothing.
Do I need to do something else to get a sponsor? This is the first package
I submit to Debian.
