Can you try testing the attached patch? It was forwarded to the
upstream's bug report tracker (from a quick look, it seems reasonable,
but I don't know if it actually solves the issue, and again I don't
have a joystick to test with).

I've just come across this bug while trying to build conky in an up-to-date Sid
pbuilder chroot; at the moment, it seems that libxnvctrl-dev can't be installed
(and causes conky to FTBFS as a side effect).
# aptitude install libxnvctrl-dev

All right, I'll look into creating a backport for conky later (i.e.

A new upstream version of minitube (1.5) has been released; please package it!
Thanks in advance.

All right, thanks for taking the time to investigate this
s for the issue of users with only main enabled in their sources.list
being left with a conky that's somewhat stripped of features
(conky-std), I plan to address this by enabling a few more common
features in conky-std (rather than adding another binary package); see
#579893 for details.

Conky already provides an additional config file
(/etc/conky/conky_no_x11.conf) to be used
t/pygame/trunk
(although I think I'm probably the only pygame maintainer/uploader
actively using collab-maint for pygame packaging at the moment).

(Just doing some bug triaging...)
Is this bug still reproducible with the latest version of pygame from
sid/experimental? And if it is, should this bug perhaps be reassigned
to xdm/SDL/X11 instead?

Hi,
FYI, issues/requests related to backports should be sent to the
debian-backports mailing list (or directly to the maintainer/team in
charge of the package), not to the BTS [1]. I personally don't mind
either way, but you may find that some maintainers are not so

Hi James,

that matter) should be sent directly to the debian-backports mailing
