1.6.0~beta and were faced with this issue, thats why created the NEWS entry.
But maybe the problem was solved and occ is not showing the

The linking is done against a library and not against the symbols. Or do you

that sounds like the mysql server did not stop correctly and it can't start
again. Did you had akonadi running while upgrading? Are there lock files in
the akonadi dir: ~/.local/share/akonadi/ ?

indexing all emails, that can take a while. Also refreshing all emails can
make akonadi take a lot CPU. So in short periods and at beginning akonadi is

older version? Have you started with a clean akonadi? Can you restart akonadi
( akonadi restart in a console) and look at the output, that akonadi tells

the issue that kmail do not show new mails I also see at my system, but this
is not relateed to midnight. My system also runs for days and is only triggerd
after some days. I didn't saw the issue for the newest akonadi
(e.g. another
downstream) for a patched version of the kdelibs package.
