hey guys,
i should have some time to put forward on this starting wednesday or so.
i believe the folks at redhat are also in our position wrt php4 and have
been independently working on digging up the packages, so i threw
an email to the guy doing it. hopefully that'll lower the burden just a
bit
Previously I reported that my Blue&White G3 Powermac didn't get the
wigglies. Apparently that was a lie.
I recently re-installed this machine and there there were! So both
my G3 machines (Beige OldWorld G3 and B&W NewWorld G3) have this
problem.
Has there been any progress lately?

Not sure whether this is related, but during the upgrade to splashy 0.3 the
same error is triggered and after the upgrade /lib/splashy still contains the
some files as mentioned in this bug report.

the problem is that the sse_optimized.cpp file NEEDS to be compiled with -msse
on the i386 and amd64 archs. The runtime cpu detection system of the program
will take care of actually using it or not depending on the cpu features.
