I could only reproduce the bug removing /etc/debian_version as well as
/etc/apt/sources.list.
Thing is, aptsources.distro from python-apt, has a function, get_distro,
which uses lsb_release to get the system codename. lsb_release will give
it 'n/a' as the codename and it will not match any of the

What's wrong, Debhelper or the typo? Most freeze exemptions I got so far (from
other release managers) included a Debhelper update

This bug is not in the core mercurial (ie the core software works
correctly). It is in an extension (hgk).
I really do not think that such a bug should prevent mercurial to be
released with lenny (which would be the case if the severity is kept at
'serious' level)
