changed since like forever, so i don't understand what went wrong here, apart
maybe some mis-detection of the subarch, which would have the system default
to mkvmlinuz instead of yaboot.

This is a temporary fix, which should go away with 2.6.16, if 2.6.16 finally
sees the complete ARCH=ppc/ARCH=powerpc merge happen for our desktop flavours.

usefull for future cases of subarch breakage, and
it will be more convenient if we kept older kernel versions in such an archive
over the archive.debian.net case.

modifying the HTML files instead of modifying some other source and then
re-exporting the files.

As you see, the invoke-rc.d result is somewhat ignored (well, the script
exits cleanly when invoke-rc.d returned an error) by appending "|| exit
0". Therefore, dpkg shouldn't return an error during configuration.
Could you please send me your /var/lib/dpkg/info/spampd.postinst?
