Thanks for the bug report. Right now I am unable to replicate it. Could you do me two quick favours? (1) Run stopmotion under strace, so we can see what actual system call and arguments are causing the failure. (2) Run it with your locale set to C, to check if the issue is locale-related. Thanks.
