Is m68k-allow-gnu99.diff still needed?

I am confused by the history of this patch: - created on 2008-07-05 in the gcc-4.3 branch by doko - converted to quilt and updated several times on the gcc-4.4 branch - removed on 2010-06-16 in the gcc-4.4 branch by doko (rev 4510), or perhaps renamed to gcc-m68k-support-for-tls-backport.diff?
