Hi Daniel,
to check if your reverse zone registered:
$ whois -hwhois.ripe.net 28.129.82.in-addr.arpa
to check if your reverse delegation is working inside nameservice:
$ dig @ns.ripe.net any in 28.129.82.in-addr.arpa
-> zone is registered, but the not (yet) active in ripes nameservice...

sendmail 8.12.2-5
When sending mail to the server, there is a 25 second delay before the sent
mail is accepted. It is due to the reverse DNS check. How to disable the
reverse DNS check?. Any FEATURE, #define, etc. to the sendmail.mc file?. Any
option to the sendmail.cf file?. Any idea?

Using dnstrace, it looks like a few of the nameservers I queried have a
poisoned or corrupted cache; e.g.:
$ dnstrace -c 210.25.102.209.in-addr.arpa
For some reason the reverse (in-addr.arpa) mapping of an IP doesn't
always work.
dig -x 209.102.25.210
This usually returns SERVFAIL (or NXDOMAIN).
So I was guessing that it wasn't set up.
But I started at the beginning. The root-servers point to arin.net's
servers. Then arin.net's servers poi
