It's the same problem here and I always use dselect which dist-upgrades
automatically. My installed kdebase* packages are:

ii kdebase-crypto 2.0.1-1KDE core applications (Crypto modules)
ii kdebase-dev2.0.1-0.potato KDE core ap

Am I missing something? The web page at http://kde.debian.net claims that
2.1-final resides there under main. However, apt-get fails to download
anything regarding main and a quick search there shows it does not
currently exist.
I was bit by upgrading my qt so my KDE desktop has not been working

I'm just curious on this, as I'm sure it'll be resolved without any effort
on my part (besides excercising a little patience ;)...
I just did an apt-get update; apt-get -d dist-upgrade and canceled it
after It displayed the following:
The following packages will be REMOVED:

I'm running potato with XFree86 3.3.6, and just upgraded to
kde 2.1. The problem the I'm having is that xauth suddenly
doesn't work anymore... in root's .bashrc file I have the
following line:
xauth -f ~/.Xauthority merge /home/$USER/.Xauthority
This had allowed me to run x applications after

Hi,
I read on this list, that you packaged xmms-arts as xmmsarts and that
it should be available on kde.debian.net. I tried "apt-get install
xmmsarts" and got "E: Couldn't find package xmmsarts".
Is xmmsarts still available?
Thanks
