For some reason, dselect and apt-get are refusing to upgrade my KDE packages to 3.0.3. When I try to upgrade one of the packages, I get the following error. # apt-get upgrade kdelibs4 Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done The following packages have been kept back

probs with transparent menus in KDE3

Hi, I've just installed KDE3 on debian 3.0 and it works. (Seems to be faster than KDE2. Is this possible?) One Problem: I cannot get transparent menus using mosfet liquid. Are there any XFree limitations? Do I have to alter XF86Config-4? I have XFree 4.1.0 In KControl I have this LookFeel -

Hi, is this the right place to ask? I compiled kde3.0.2 from scratch, qt-3.0.5 also. kded keeps on segfaulting. I think it's a problem in some of woody's libs ... Is this a known problem? ingo -- nice joke scotty, now beam my clothes up ...
