Hi, I'm running sid with the 2.6.9-2-686 kernel, alsa, and kde 3.3. I recently ran a routine apt-get update and apt-get upgrade. After the upgrade I no longer have any kde system sounds. Other sounds--audio and mpeg files, flash in konqueror--work fine. I ran alsaconf, but still no sound. Kmix
